Last Saturday I played a concert at Ystad Theatre in Sweden.
It was a band with Jan Lundgren piano,Peter Asplund trumpet and the fantastic singer from South Korea
Youn Sun Nah. It was a direct broadcast for Swedish radio, but the link was broken due to heavy thunder storms.
So Swedish Radio P2 left a link to the whole concert. If you want to listen here it is.
Thank you for the pleasure! The concert perfectly suits my evening mood.
Exquisite and beautiful.
From Seattle, Washington State, USA.
Many thanks to Svrige Radio for making this splendid event available to all of us, and with such great audio quality! And to Doug Ramsey’s Rifftides website for bringing this to us here in the Pacific Northwest — and elsewhere, of course. Jazz over many years has become much more world wide, much more than just «America’s classical music.» The Rifftides website makes sure that subscribers/viewers are kept continuously aware of this flowering and evolution of the music and its audiences.
Lovely concert, beautifully recorded. Is there any chance of posting a song list? As I’m not Swedish, I don’t know the last tune, or it’s title…
Thanks again.
Way cool! Some very valid points! I appreciate you penning
this post and the rest of the website is really
good.
